Fondazione Prada presents *Michelangelo Pistoletto — Mirror Acts*, the most extensive exhibition of the artist's work in Italy since 2000, on view in Milan from 2 May to 28 September 2026. Spanning theVenue's OMA-designed podium, the Haunted House, and the Cisterna, the show traces Pistoletto's iconic mirror works from the *Quadri specchianti* of the 1960s to recent iterations of his *Venus of the Rags* series. Each architectural space hosts a distinct chapter of this decades-long investigation, while live performances activate the *Theatre of Love* throughout the exhibition's run, bringing the participatory dimension of Pistoletto's practice into direct dialogue with visitors. The artist's foundation Cittadellarte contributes a final-room manifesto addressing socially responsible art practice. Together, these elements offer a comprehensive reading of the mirror as both material and metaphor in Pistoletto's oeuvre—a surface that reflects the viewer, collapses the boundary between artwork and reality, and opens onto broader ethical and civic concerns.
