Founded in Accra, Gallery 1957 has become an important platform for artists from Ghana, West Africa, and the African diaspora. Its programme combines exhibitions with residencies, public programming, Accra Cultural Week, and the Yaa Asantewaa Art Prize, giving Biennale Radar several distinct streams to monitor beyond the gallery calendar.
